The ‘I’m trying’ is not clear, believable
To let go of the problem is achievable

(“The enemy of the poor is poverty”)
The emotional core writes the article
Of the self-righteous perpetual cycle
Of being down with what keeps down

Act like you’ve nothing for something
Acting like is how you lose everything
The net stops the feeling, the incision
From ‘hard concrete’ to your decision

To a clever appeal; there is no breeze
‘You never knell with your own knees’
(Why try) If you’re satisfied & realised
The married and worker are penalised

In sum; a help steals the momentum
A crippling effect pays to later regret
So… act like you dislike spoken word
For… A token is for the tucked in bird
